Personalised Buttons
This project is a variation on the 'Basic Button' tutorial in Tinkercad. Simply follow this tutorial, but add the following optional steps:
1) Add your initials to the top side of the button, either using the 'hole' option to inset the letters into the button face, or place them on top of the button face. 2) Increase the number of sides of the button for a smoother side edge. 3) 'Enable Ironing' in Cura (the slicing software) to create a smooth top surface. |
Dice
You can find the 'Die from scratch' tutorial in Tinkercad.
A couple of things to watch out for: 1) Make sure the numbers are only pushed 1mm into the dice face. If side or bottom numbers are too deep, the slicing software adds supports which look messy and are difficult to remove. 2) Remember, you must drop the workplane onto each face of the dice that you are working on. |
